Personal
Jeroen Van Houtte received the B.Sc. degree in physics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, and the M.Sc. degree in physics and astronomy at the University of Ghent, Belgium, in 2014, and 2016, respectively.
From July until September 2015, he was a visiting student at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center, Madison, USA. From August to October 2016, he performed an internship at the Earth Observation Laboratory, University of Tromsø, Tromsø, Norway.
Since 2016, Jeroen is pursuing a PhD degree at imec-Vision Lab, University of Antwerp, Belgium, for which he has cooperated with the Center for Image-guided Therapy and Interventions, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. His current research interests focus on statistical shape modeling and on image registration and segmentation techniques, in particular on radiographic data.
