PhD position on computational dynamic X-ray image reconstruction
PhD position on computational dynamic X-ray image reconstruction
The MSCA Doctoral Network X-CELERATE is looking for Doctoral Candidates (DCs) to become the next generation of dedicated advanced materials researchers.
More info can be found here.
You will develop efficient tomographic image reconstruction methods for imaging of smart materials. This entail solving a challenging inverse problem by combining reconstruction and motion estimation in a single update step, based on the analytical gradients of the motion towards both the reconstruction and the non-affine motion parameters. Next, the iterative 4DCT reconstruction scheme will be unrolled so as to combine the benefits from physics-based modelling and advanced data driven priors using dynamic recurrent inference machines.
• You fulfil the general MSCA eligibility criteria and X-CELERATE requirements (here).
• You have a master’s degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or related field (if you have not obtained your diploma yet, but expect to do so in the near future, please apply already).
• You have a strong background in scientific computing.
• You are proficient in at least one programming language
